"To raise up a community of God-loving disciples that shine Christ's love locally and globally."

1. A COMMUNITY:
We believe that the Church is Christ's own body on earth. The local church is a vital environment for all Christians; God did not create us to be alone, even as it is reflected in His own Trinity. Our faith activates fully from its position within the body of Christ.

2. To LOVE GOD:
We want to increase our love for God by worshiping together in the great assembly (Sunday worship) and by gazing on Him in worship through the Word, in teaching and in Bible study groups.

3. Of DISCIPLES (and DISCIPLERS):
We believe that Christ chose discipleship as His means of investment, spending most of his time with only his closest twelve disciples to impact the entire planet. Therefore, we desire to follow in Christ's footsteps by investing deeply into a few people, through small groups and accountability relationships. We also believe in making disciples of non-believers, and to that end, personal evangelism among classmates, co-workers, neighbors, and friends. We believe that investing into discipleship within our non-Christian relationships is the most effective method of evangelism in our context.

4. To SHINE CHRIST'S LOVE:
A city on a hill cannot be hidden, so any spark of transformation can be measured by its visibility in the community at large. We want to reach our community in Duluth, GA, with a specific call to minority populations (Asian-American and other local minority and immigrant groups). We also need to be sensitive to the urban plight in the Atlanta area, and desire to form partnerships with Atlanta city ministries, so that our resources and investment can be leveraged to be used where it is most needed. Finally, we also believe it is the call of every Christian to offer prayer and financial support to global missions and the Kingdom work of reaching the unreached.
