agape will be starting a married couples group soon. more details will be coming during the next month. our first meeting is slated for sunday, 9/19.
welcoming team will be putting an agape directory together. please cooperate with them as they collect information and photos. information sheets are near the refreshment table and photos will be taken within the next few weeks
atlanta campus shuttle: please contact young sang for more information. the shuttle times for the campuses are as follows: Emory 9:00, Georgia State 9:20, and Georgia Tech 9:35. departure time from church is 1:30 pm.

a sincere “thank you” to everyone in agape who donated (money and/or items), helped out last Sunday with assembling the hygiene packs and helped out yesterday as we hosted the children from AUM at our church

agape softball: today’s game has been postponed due to schedule and weather conflict. next game will be 8/29. please meet in the narthex at 2:30 pm

planning meeting is today, downstairs in the library, after the hygiene packing (approximately 2 pm). this meeting will be more abbreviated. everyone is welcome to join as we plan for the future of our ministry
agape softball: the next softball date is 8/15
4^th annual hygiene pack drive: we will be collecting items to donate to the homeless children at My Sister’s House, which is part of the Atlanta Urban Ministries. please refer to the blue slip for a list of items needed. we will meet after lunch TODAY to put the packs together. we will also be hosting some of the children to a morning of fun activities and delicious lunch at our church on saturday august 14^th (10 am to 1 pm). please speak to christy lee after service or email her if you are interested in. there is also a sign-up sheet next to the snacks
six flags fellowship event: will be an all day event (9 am to 7 pm) on 8/21 and ticket cost will be $27. the deadline to sign up is 8/15 and all money should be given to gloria. contact gloria kim for further questions

our goal is to make 80 packs this year, so we need 80 of each item unless otherwise noted. please bring all items and/or donations by august 8th.

college freshmen, sophomores, or an agape members age 20 and under:

1. hand sanitizer – 60 needed (updated 7.30.10)

2. bar soap – 62 needed (updated 7.30.10)

3. lufa – 68 needed (7.30.10)

college juniors, seniors or any agape members age 21 to 22:

1. travel size tissue paper (i.e. kleenex) - 26 needed (updated 7.30.10)

2. deodorant for either boys or girls (40 boy and 40 girl deodorants) – 30 boys and 30 girls needed (updated 7.29.10)

3. PLAIN chapstick (NO flavor/scent please)

post-college and/or working professionals:
